Ammo is getting more expensive and scarce.

I went into the Fairbanks, AK, Sportsman's Warehouse, today.
22lr is now 32.99 per 500 round brick. It was still selling quickly.
There is no reason now things are in ammo frenzy.
There were nearly no hunting calibers or premium selections.

Weatherby's were on clearance and that is a bad thing for me.
They were 20% off. I believe that if the price goes 50% on a 300Roy in an accumark then I will skip a month of stacking and get another weatherby.

They still have cheap ammo for the 300 roy. I have stuff that I can handload as well. The Roy is big for most places but it kicks butt up here.

I wonder if there is a rush in other parts of the country?

Only place in town I can find a decent amount of 45 ACP is my small local FFL that charges way more than Walmart. Walmart has been out for many weeks. I go in to fill out paperwork on a pistol this week and if he still has that .45 ammo, I'm taking at least 500 rounds, if not all of it.

I usually go to Dick's Sporting Goods, face value of its ammo is usually a bit high but with a coupon I regularly use the price is decent.

I haven't noticed any significant shortages. They were out of 12ga 00 a few days ago, but I went in today they had fully replenished the supply.
